What makes the zombie AI video trend prompt work?

It's two prompts, not one. First each person gets a before and an after image: healthy in a golden field, and in the frozen cabin, the survivor worn out and the other one turned. Then the video prompt points at those four images and times the trend's beats: the standoff, the white eyes, the dropped gun, the leap and the hard cut on the hug.

Step 1: zombie AI prompts for the before and after images

Our AI reads both photos and writes down what it sees, then writes four image prompts. These are the real ones for the He turns example at the top.

Photo 2: the partner who turns zombie

What the AI read from the two photos

Survivor photo: a young East Asian woman in her early-to-mid twenties, fair skin, slim build, very long straight glossy black hair with a center part falling past her chest, two small silver hair clips on the right side of her head, warm brown almond eyes, soft oval face, gentle closed-lip smile. Zombie photo: a young East Asian man in his early-to-mid twenties, light skin, slim athletic build, short thick tousled black hair with a messy fringe over the forehead, dark brown eyes, defined jaw and straight nose, small silver hoop earring in his left ear, calm slight smile. Step 2: the zombie AI video prompt

The video prompt names the four images, keeps both faces in every shot and times 11 shots and the sound. This is the prompt that made the video beside it.

The 16:9 video this prompt made, before the captions are added.

Zombie AI video prompt: 11 shots and the sound

A 15-second cinematic short film, photoreal, shallow depth of field, hard cuts between shots, in two worlds: a freezing log cabin in a snowy apocalypse (cold blue light, dark wood walls, frosted windows) and a golden wheat field at sunset (warm backlight, soft lens flare). References: @Image1 = the survivor in the cabin: a young East Asian woman, very long straight black hair with a center part and two small silver hair clips on the right, brown eyes, tired face with a little grime, dark olive-green parka over a dark hoodie, faded jeans, brown work boots, no hat. @Image2 = the same woman in the golden field: clean relaxed face, bright smile, white crew-neck T-shirt, light blue jeans, brown boots. @Image3 = the zombie in the cabin: a young East Asian man with short tousled black hair and a fringe, small silver hoop earring in his left ear, grey-white cracked skin with faint dark veins, milky white eyes, dark teeth, a little blood at the mouth corners, torn dirty undershirt and torn shorts, barefoot, hunched. @Image4 = the same man healthy in the golden field: clean face, soft smile, short tousled black hair, silver hoop earring, off-white linen shirt, light linen trousers, barefoot. Keep both faces exactly as in their references in every shot. Shot 1 (0-1.5s): extreme close-up of the survivor's face in cold blue cabin light, winter parka, weary, one tear at the corner of her eye, steady gaze; a gun muzzle out of focus in the foreground pointing straight at the camera; slow push in. Shot 2 (1.5-3s): over the survivor's shoulder: the back of the survivor's head and shoulder fill the left foreground, out of focus; across the dim kitchen the zombie stands by a frosted window, head down, wet hair covering his face, arms hanging; slow push in. Shot 3 (3-4.5s): side close shot of the survivor, gun held level, jaw clenched, eyes full of tears, the muzzle trembling slightly. Shot 4 (4.5-5.5s): close-up, the zombie raises his head and snarls at the camera, lunging forward, fully white eyes. Shot 5 (5.5-7s): frontal medium shot, frosted window behind her: the survivor closes her eyes, the gun slips from her hand, she opens her arms wide. Hold on this moment for about one and a half seconds. Shot 6 (7-7.8s): low angle at floor level: the survivor's boots in the foreground, the gun hits the wooden floor and bounces, in the distance the zombie charges hunched toward her. Shot 7 (7.8-8.8s): side view, slight slow motion: the zombie leaps at her, the zombie is still a zombie in mid-air, the survivor steps forward with open arms to catch him. At the instant they touch, hard cut. Shot 8 (8.8-10.5s): medium shot, golden wheat field at sunset: the two fall together into the tall grass, the healthy man on top of the survivor, both laughing, in clean clothes. Both faces are clean now, no grime. Shot 9 (10.5-12.5s): close shot in the grass, they touch each other's faces, foreheads almost touching, smiling through tears. Shot 10 (12.5-14s): wide shot from behind, hand in hand they walk into the wheat field toward the sun. Shot 11 (14-15s): wide silhouette on a hillside, sitting close together, leaning on each other, watching the sunset. Sound: no dialogue, no human voices, no singing. 0-7s a low oppressive drone, tense breathing, creaking wood; at 7s one heavy thud of the gun hitting the wooden floor; 7-8.8s a rising tense swell with fast bare footsteps on wood; at the 8.8s cut to the field one short beat of silence, then by 9.3s a warm, gentle piano melody enters, joined by soft strings and wind through the grass, clearly audible all the way to the end, not fading. Constraints: no gore beyond a little blood at the mouth. No subtitles, no text, no watermark, no logos.

These zombie AI prompts were written by our AI

Nobody typed the prompts above. Our AI wrote them after reading these two photos, so every line is about these two people: her hair clips, his earring, what each of them wears in each world.

Pasted into another tool with your own photos, they may lose a face or rush the beats, because they weren't written for you. Add your two photos at the top and the AI writes yours the same way, then makes the video.

Zombie AI prompt for dogs and cats

15-second cinematic short. Image 1 is the survivor, Image 2 is their pet, which has turned into a zombie. Same cabin opening as the couple version: tearful survivor aiming a gun in a cold blue cabin, the zombie pet by a frosted window, head low, skinny with ribs showing and dirty matted fur, keeping the breed, coat pattern and eye color from Image 2. It looks up and bares its teeth with white eyes, the survivor drops the gun and opens their arms, the pet charges and leaps, still a zombie in mid-air. Hard cut on contact to a golden wheat field: the pet is healthy and glossy again. For a medium or large dog: it knocks the survivor into the grass and licks their face while they laugh and rub its ears. For a cat or small dog: it jumps into their arms and they spin it around, then it lies on their chest. End walking into the sun with the pet beside them, then a sunset silhouette. Low growls and panting only, no dialogue, no text.

Short zombie AI trend prompt (8 seconds)

8-second version. Image 1 survivor, Image 2 zombie. Cold blue cabin: the survivor aims a gun at the zombie, white eyes and grey skin, then drops the gun and opens their arms. The zombie lunges into the hug. Hard cut on contact to a golden wheat field at sunset: both healthy, laughing, foreheads together. Keep both faces from the reference images. Cinematic, shallow depth of field, no text.

How to use these zombie AI prompts

Make the four images first

Generate each person before and after from their own photo, then give all four to the video model. One photo per character holds faces better than two people in one image.

Keep the hard cut

The trend lives on the cut from the cold cabin to the warm field at the moment of the hug. Ask for no transition.

Keep the zombie mid-air

Models like to turn the zombie back too early. Say it is still a zombie during the leap and only healthy in the field.

Change the clothes with the scene

Winter clothes in the cabin, light clothes in the field. Otherwise the field looks like the same scene in a different light.

Zombie AI prompt FAQ

What is the zombie AI trend prompt?

There isn't one official prompt. The trend is a fixed sequence of shots: a standoff in a cold cabin, the zombie's white-eyed close-up, the dropped gun, the leap, a hard cut on the hug to a golden field, and a walk into the sunset. Our AI writes it in two steps, four before-and-after images of the two people and then a video prompt that times those shots, and both are on this page.

Which AI video tools can use these prompts?

People ask most about Google Flow, Kling, Higgsfield and Seedance. Any image-to-video model that takes two reference images and 10 to 15 seconds of output works; name the images (Image 1, Image 2) the way your tool expects. Shorter tools need the 8-second version.

Why do my results lose the faces?

Most tools keep one face well and drift on the second, and the zombie makeup makes it worse. Use clear, front-facing photos, keep each character to one image, and describe each person's hair and features in the prompt.

Is there a version without prompts?

Yes, the tool at the top of this page. Add two photos and our AI writes both prompts for your two faces, then makes the video.

Can I use these prompts for free?

Yes. Copy them into any tool you like. Making the video here costs a credit; the prompts don't.

Is there a CapCut template for the zombie AI trend?

Yes, two. One went up on September 28 for couples and pets, a second on October 2 for couples, and by October 19 they had been used more than 230,000 times. They paste your photo into a ready-made clip rather than generating one for your faces.

How long is the zombie AI trend video?

The originals run about 10 to 13 seconds, most of it in the cold cabin and the last few seconds in the warm field; some add real clips of the couple at the end. Our template makes 15 seconds so the key beats get more time. The short prompt above fits tools that stop at 8.

Can I write the prompt for a pet or a family member?

Yes. Use the pet prompt for a dog or cat and describe its coat and markings; for a parent or grandparent use the couple prompt and change who the zombie is. For a child, leave out the blood.
